Faten Mkacher, a security manager at GORGY TIMING, proposed a calibration method to improve the accuracy of NTP protocol in the context of SCPTime project.
This method consists of taking into account asymmetric transmission delays due to different routing paths over Internet. It will be used in the SCPTime architecture in addition to the STS protocol which guarantees optimal (cyber) security.
The ISPCS (International IEEE Symposium on Precision Clock Synchronization for Measurement, Control, and Communication) was held in Portland, Oregon, USA from September 22nd to 27th, 2019.
The objective of the symposium is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners from industry, academia, and government involved in the area of Precision Clock Synchronization and Distributed Time-based Applications.
